Taylor Moschetti is the Artistic Director of Laughing Pig Theatre and LPT for Youth. She is a proud teaching artist for the Mesa Arts Center, where she established Laughing Pig as an Educational Company in Residence. She also teaches theatre full-time at BASIS Phoenix Central. As a Theatre teacher for BASIS, she designed the new Arts Element program with all new curriculum unique to BASIS Phoenix Central. Taylor has led and curated several theatre workshops around Coconino and Maricopa County, covering subjects such as voice and diction, stage combat, and viewpointing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Performance from Northern Arizona University. Taylor is also a prominent director, performer, and improviser in the valley. She is experienced directing both traditional drama and special storytelling events like Laughing Pig Theatre’s popular Monologue Café. She most recently performed in Reasons to be Pretty at Laughing Pig Theatre and The Trauma Brain Project at Bridge Initiative. You may have also seen her on stage improvising at the Torch, Second Beat, Comedy off Main Street, and at the Mesa Arts Center. Her interests do not stop there. Not only is she passionate about being on stage, but she can often be seen behind the scenes. She most recently was a stage manager and costume designer for Sensitive Guys at Laughing Pig Theatre and she also stage managed The Way North at Bridge Initiative. She is always eager to learn and collaborate with the valley’s best artists both the fresh and experienced.
