AZ Time
There are certain characters that feel so repellent to us that it can be a challenge to play them honestly. This class will give students a chance to workshop scenes featuring a wide swath of unpleasant characters and feature discussions on how to deal with material that makes us uncomfortable.
Meet the Teaching Artist:
Tony Moschetti (he/him) is co-founder and Executive Director of Laughing Pig Theatre. He is a performer, director, writer, improvisor and teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northern Arizona University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. He recently completed the Molly Blank Fund ASU Gammage Teaching Artist Program, led by Kennedy Center artists. At Laughing Pig, he has directed Reasons to Be Pretty, Always Plenty of Light at the Starlight All Night Diner, and Abortion Road Trip. He has also performed in and written many others. Outside of Laughing Pig, Tony has been teaching theatre to all ages in the Valley for five years. His favorite pie is custard.
